Fine Art
Kristin Ashley is equally at home in the worlds of fine art, graphic design, and photography. Graduating with honors, she holds a BFA in Studio Arts from Barat College. Kristin has made creativity her career in her chosen field as a graphic designer and as a fine artist specializing in painting and photography.
Weaving mediums and images into a dreamlike tapestry that represents her dreams and visions, her montages take on an otherworldly appearance, rich in color and symbolism.
Drawing from her lifelong interest in symbols, mythology and archetypes, Kristin has created a mystical world through her art that melds the reality of nature with the magic of the unseen world.

As a creative and innovative communications specialist with a thorough knowledge of graphic design principles, Kristin possesses advanced technical knowledge and digital media skills. Experienced in developing visual solutions and marketing strategies, Kristin promotes services and products for a variety of clients and industries.
Kristin is an award-winning freelance graphic designer creating innovative visual content and branding for both print and digital communication. She applies a conceptual and creative approach to create engaging designs that increase revenue and promote the client’s vision and goals.

Kristin Ashley loves sharing art with others. Her motto is, “Art Makes Life Beautiful.”
Her work is deeply expressive and highly original. She has a keen interest in nature and symbolism. As Kristin has often said, “Symbols make us feel many emotions. They can broaden our perspective and take us to realms beyond words.”
Kristin is a highly dynamic and entertaining speaker and presents acclaimed programs to libraries, senior centers, art guilds and special interest groups throughout Chicagoland including the North Shore area, the northwest suburbs and southeastern Wisconsin.
